Ever since she can remember Kristina has always loved to draw and paint. Her colorful florals and landscapes reflect a love of nature while her still lives combine luminous color with strong light and intricate detail.In watercolor she finds a medium that not only releases freedom and spontaneity but also shines forth with brilliant translucent color.
Studying under master artist Semyon Bilmes at Ashland Academy of Art, Ashland OR her skills soared to a new level. She has also studied with well known artists from Colorado and Oregon: Stephen Quiller, Tom Owen, Julie Kirkland, Susan Hinton, Charleen Brusset, & Chareu Colorado.
Kristina is an award winner and has had paintings accepted into many professionally juried exhibitions, including: International Watermedia PPWS, Colorado State Watercolor Society, Colorado Springs Art Guild. She is a signature member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society. Her work can also be viewed at Michael's on Main in Canon City.
