Lorraine Watry

Lorraine has a BFA from the University of Colorado in Boulder where she specialized in studio arts. She is a Signature member of the Colorado and Pikes Peak Watercolor Societies. Lorraine is in her second year of serving as the President of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society.

Lorraine has worked with watercolor for 12 years. She is interested in varied subject matter that includes landscapes, architecture, florals, and figures. Throughout her pieces she generally uses bright color and strong values.

Lorraine is an award winner and has had paintings accepted into many professionally juried exhibitions, including: Rocky Mountain National Watermedia 2002, Kansas 8 State, International Watermedia PPWS, WASH Houston, Louisianna Watercolor 2004, Montana Watercolor Society, and the Colorado Watercolor Society.
