Karen Standridge

Karen
cannot remember a time when she didn't paint or draw. In addition
to studying art at the University of Tulsa, she has recently
studied watercolor with a number of well-known artists such
as Zoltan Szabo, Judi Wagner, Diane Maxey, Alvaro Castegnet, Ron Ranson, Frank Francese
and Jean Grastorf. She specializes in large, loose impressionistic
landscapes in oil, watercolor and acrylic.
A Signature Member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society and a Colorado Springs Art Guild Member, Karen shows her work with those groups as well as at the Cottonwood Artists' School and Gallery, the Business of Art Center, Dale Street Bistro and Gallery, Fratelli Italian Ristorante, Whole Foods, The Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, and many other locations in the United States. Her art can also be seen in private collections in Germany, Italy, Argentina, and Mexico.
