Georgia Dayhoff's artistic talents have evolved into wildlife wood carvings. What started as a hobby, became a challenge to capture and share with others her love of nature.

"After 29 years of school teaching from High School to Kindergarten (yes in that order) my husband who is a dedicated bird watcher and I launched into world travels looking for new birds to add to his bird life list which in nearing 3,000 now. I became enamored with carving birds, studying with accomplished artists, sculptors and woodcarvers and devoted much of my time to my new found passion. Carvings are rendered in life like detail and color, giving each sculpture a personality and often a sense of humor of its own."

Many of her wood carvings have won ribbons at shows and are now found in many states and 5 foreign countries.
